Organizers set up outside the Santa Monica office of the Governor, 3110 Main St. before the buses arrive.

Six or 7 busloads of people arrive.

"Stop Immigrant Bashing" poster adorns bus. People on the patio at Starbucks, which is adjacent to the governors' office, watched the protesters converged.

"Hungry for Drivers Licenses". I thought their rally slogan was very funny. Just the idea of someone eating a drivers license is amusing. The main speaker was a woman who wore a chefs' hat and read off a "menu", describing entrees such as drivers licenses for non-citizens, free education, and health care for all.
"Demand licenses" en espanol
"Driver Licence for ALL", screams the cardboard manequin as he gives the Communist salute.

Asian percussionists entertain the crowd. Despite their leftist ideologies & pinko beliefs, they were actually pretty good and added some 'zest' to the festivities. ;-)
"Arnold.. be a governor for ALL People!" The most ironic thing about this sign is what these people don't seem to realize; they don't have to convince RINO Arnie of anything, because he's already on their side.

Sign reads: "No to U.S. Occupation. Stop Immigrant Bashing". What "occupation" is this sign referring to? Are these demonstrators contending that 'Aztlan' is being 'occupied' by the U.S.?

When I saw this guys' sign, i didn't carefully read it; just glanced at it and snapped the picture. Initially I thought it said 'Support our brave troops in Iraq'. Only after i got home & the downloaded the pics, was I horrified to notice what it actually said. He said he was a 'Camejo for president' (Green Party) supporter.
This guy introduced himself as the "Mayor Pro-Tem of Santa Monica". His name is Kevin McKeown, and his website is
http://www.mckeown.net/.

The Mayor is cheered by the crowd, which was comprised of people who want drivers licenses for illegal aliens; as well as others who were self-proclaimed socialists, communists, etc.

"Hungry for Drivers licenses", the mayor holds up & waves his plates in victory to a cheering crowd. He looks like he's had a few platefulls too many, already.

T-shirt reads "SUPPORTER OF SB1160- SAFE HIGWAYS".
The demonstrators board their buses & head off to their next stop, which was a rally in Koreatown.
(Sorry, I did not go to that one. I saw all I could handle for one day. ;-)
